$200 FAIR SHARE for 2nd Semester
The boosters are ready to collect the Fair Share for the 2nd semester. Some of the band families have already turned in their 2nd Semester Fair Share, thank you so much for your support!!
Your student can bring the check (payable to UHS BAND AIDES) to Mr. Heddon during the class time, please remember to write your student’s name on the Memo line. UHS Band Booster is a nonprofit organization. Your Fair Share donation is tax deductible, Mr. Heddon has the receipt letter at school. Your student can ask Mr. Heddon for the receipt if you need one for tax purpose. UNI’s Music department THANK YOU for your support!
Uniform Storing
Many thanks to the following volunteers who helped the boosters to store all the clean uniforms back to the closets: Terry LePage (Mark Rynochesky), Steve Chang (Irene), Carol Uhlaner (Steven Brownstone), Dorothy Duncan (Paul), Pam Pham (Hayden), Sudeshina Roy (Abhi), and Alex Liao.
Special Thanks to our uniform chair, Wen Yiu (Anita Yau), for her great efforts this year. Fortunately, she will continue for one more year as the Uniform Chair for the boosters. If you are willing to co-chair with Wen for next year, please contact Annie at

Band Classes
All band students are required to attend the office hour concert this Wednesday, February 24th. There will be a listening assignment that you can pick up in the foyer of the theater the day of the concert.

Band Future Events Updates
Moms & Pops concert – March 9 evening. Rancho’s Symphonic Band and Orchestra will be performing at UNI. UNI’s band and orchestra will also perform. Jazz Band will be performing in front of theater at 6:30pm
IUSD High School Music Festival – Band Festival is held on March 17 & 18 evenings at Northwood High. Orchestra Festival is held on March 24 & 25 evenings at UNI.
SCSBOA Music Festival – March 25 & 26 (during day time). Many OC middle schools and high schools will travel to UNI to participate this annual event. The boosters will host a food booth for all the participants and we will need lots of volunteers for these two days.
Fullerton Jazz Festival – March 27, Saturday
Persian Festival (Fundraising) – April 7, Sunday. UNI’s parking lot and back field will be open for Persian Festival Parking. The music department works with the Football and Baseball teams for this fundraising event. We will need lots of help from both students and parents.
