Hello Band families:
 
Next week -- on Wednesday, September 8th -- during 7th period marching band, the students will all be suiting up in uniforms to take Band Pictures.
 
Apple Photography takes s a group photo of the band.  Individual shots of your student in uniform & optional 'Buddy Pictures" with band mates can also be taken. The group picture will be featured in the school yearbook & will be available for purchase. A copy of the order form should have been emailed to you. I've been happy with the pictures I've purchased from Apple Photography in the past.  Personally, I prefer the band pictures over the school pictures that are taken during registration during band camp.  The students look great in their uniforms.  Grandparents love these pictures also.
 
If you are interested in purchasing band pictures, please bring payment to the school on Picture Day with the form filled out.  Late orders will not be accepted, but forms can be brought in early with a check made out to Apple Photography & placed in the locked band box on the wall in the band room. (No cash in the band box, please).
 
What to wear: A black t-shirt & light athletic shorts to wear under the uniforms -- please no jeans or cargo shorts as they are too bulky under the uniform.
Dinkles & black socks.  (Drum majors -- wear white t-shirts & white socks!)
 
Color Guard: Since your colorguard outfits are not finished, your colorguard coach will let you know what you'll need to wear for pictures.
 
The Dinkle Marching shoes are in.  We will be distributing them Friday, 9/3  along with the gloves. If you have not paid for these items yet, please bring the payment.  We'll not pass out any shoes that haven't been paid for. In any case, dinkles will need to be paid for & picked up before picture day.
 
Please do your best to not miss school on this day -- we want you in the picture!
