Upcoming group event:                     

Corps at the Crest  -- Saturday, July 3rd

5:30 pm to 10 pm

Location:  Mt. Sac Athletic Stadium i Walnut, CA

(45 minute drive from UHS --up the 57 FWY)

Next year’s UHS Drum majors & section leaders have been spreading the word –via Facebook, about this Saturday’s show.
The aim is for 50 people to attend secure the low ticket price of $5. UHS alumni & Family members are welcome to attend. (This is not a school sponsored event.)

Our Music director & coaches have participated in drum corps in the past.  Mr. Heddon and Marie Sato are both alumni of the Santa Clara Vanguard.  Lauren Gary, our current Colorguard coach, is touring with the 2009 DCI Champs --Concord Blue Devils “B” & will be performing at this show.  A few UNI Band Alumni are currently performing with Diamond Bar’s Pacific Crest Drum Corp.

Please bring $5 -- exact change -- to pay for your ticket & extra spending money for a program &/or food concessions.

Parents

We need drivers!   Many of our students don’t drive yet – or have not had their license long enough to drive other students.  Please join us in driving & stay for the drum corp experience.  $5 is deal for an evening of entertainment & you will help us to reach our goal of 50 attendees.

Meeting at UNI to Car Pool

The plan is to meet at UNI in the parking lot in front of the gym at 3:30 pm for carpooling.  We plan to depart by 3:45 pm
